PATIENT ASSESSMENT & RECRUITMENT
Our network of pediatric eye care professionals help to identify and refer potential patients to LEF, who assess patients and perform the spectacle fitting.
3D ANATOMY CAPTURE
Currently, we use our custom developed application to scan the face and all important data points.
IMAGE ANALYSIS & CUSTOM SPECTACLE DESIGN
Using machine learning technology, our software can identify the relevant anatomical landmarks important for ideal spectacle fit, termed critical fit points. The critical fit points are mapped onto a flexible digital spectacle model which conforms to the child’s unique facial anatomy. The model is then manually reviewed to ensure a high quality and comfortable fit.
FRAME PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
The customized spectacle design is 3D printed using a material with personalized properties (e.g. color, weight, flexibility, etc.) and shipped to optical lab where standard lenses can be custom cut and fitted into the frames with the child’s most recent prescription.
